Lyle W. Horn earned a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University in 1970. He taught medical and dental students, graduate students, and undergraduate students in pharmacy, physical therapy, and nursing for 30 years. He has conducted research in his own laboratory, at the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory, and at the National Institutes of Health. He has published original research articles in many scientific journals.
Dr. Alan Hecht is a practicing chiropractor in New York. He is also an adjunct professor at Farmingdale State College, Nassau Community College, and the C. W. Post campus of Long Island University. He teaches courses in medical microbiology, health and human disease, anatomy and physiology, comparative anatomy, human physiology, human nutrition, embryology, and general biology.
