Nikky-Guninder Kaur Singh, Ph.D., is professor of religious studies at Colby College, where she holds the Crawford Family Chair. She has published extensively in the field of Sikhism. She serves as a trustee for the American Institute for Indian Studies, and is on the editorial board of the History of Religions and the Journal of the American Academy of Religion.

Series editor and religious historian Martin Palmer is the founder of International Consultancy on Religion, Education, and Culture (ICOREC), in 1983, and the secretary-general of the Alliance of Religions and Conservation (ARC). He is the author of many books on world religions as well as a translator of ancient Chinese texts.
