Summary

Beginning with an exploration of the troubled times of the 1760s and 1770s, Revolutionary War, Fourth Edition presents a probing and thoughtful account of America's heroic seven-year struggle for independence. From the first shots at Lexington and Concord to the British surrender at Yorktown, Virginia, this eBook tells the story of the war waged by a young and disparate collection of colonies against the greatest empire and military power in the world. Complete with full-color and black-and-white photographs and illustrations, full-color maps, and other further resources, Revolutionary War, Fourth Edition is suited for middle and high school students seeking unbiased information about U.S. military history.
