Jennifer Bobrow Burns has more than 13 years of experience as a writer and career counselor. She holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University and an M.A. in counseling and guidance from New York University. Formerly the associate director of career development at the Columbia University Center for Career Education in New York, Burns has published numerous articles related to career issues. Currently, she is the assistant dean for career services at Quinnipiac University's School of Communications in Hamden, Connecticut.
