Foreword author David J. Nettina is the former president, chief financial officer, and chief real estate officer of American Financial Realty Trust (AFR), a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT). Prior to joining AFR, Nettina founded Briarwood Capital Group, LLC, and continues to serve as its principal. He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
