About the Author(s)

William E. Berger, M.D., is founder and medical director of the Southern California Research Center, Allergy and Asthma Associates of Southern California, and a clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology, at the University of California in Irvine. He is the author of Allergies and Asthma for Dummies and Asthma for Dummies. Berger holds the title of Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He lives in Mission Viejo, California.
