About the Author(s)
R. Victoria Arana received her Ph.D. from George Washington University and is a professor of English at Howard University. She has published many scholarly articles and guest-edited scholarly journals, and is the editor of the Dictionary of Literary Biography’s volume Contemporary "Black" British Writers and of the essay collection "Black" British Aesthetics Today.
