Jennifer Bobrow Burns has more than 10 years of experience as a writer and career counselor. She holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University and an M.A. in counseling and guidance from New York University. Formerly the associate director of career development at the Columbia University Center for Career Education in New York, NY, Bobrow Burns has published numerous articles related to career issues. Currently, she is the assistant dean for career services at Quinnipiac University's School of Communications in Hamden, Connecticut.
Foreword author Janice Castro is Assistant Dean and Director of graduate journalism programs at Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she is also an assistant professor of magazines and new media. Castro was a founding officer of the Online News Association; former editorial director of Britannica.com; former managing editor of Time.com; former reporter and editor of Time magazine; founding editor of Discover magazine; and former vice president of the Board of Governors of the Overseas Press Club of America.
