About the Author(s)

Jennifer McClinton-Temple holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma and is assistant professor of English at King's College in Pennsylvania.

Alan Velie holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and is the David Ross Boyd Professor at the University of Oklahoma. He is the author of Shakespeare's Repentance Plays: The Search for an Adequate Form and Four American Indian Literary Masters: A Study of James Welch, Scott Momaday, Gerald Vizenor and Leslie Silko. Velie has edited The Lightning Within; American Indian Literature, an anthology of traditional and contemporary Indian literature; and Native American Perspectives on Literature and History.
