About the Author(s)
Glenn S. Rothfeld, M.D., M.Ac., has been at the forefront of the integrative medicine movement for the past 25 years. A former clinical fellow of Harvard University School of Medicine’s Channing Laboratory, he is currently a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he developed one of the nation’s first courses on alternative medicine. Trained in acupuncture, Rothfeld is a frequent lecturer who has written seven other books. He currently serves as medical director of an integrative medical center in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Deborah S. Romaine is the author, coauthor, or contributor to 15 books on health and wellness subjects, including Resolving Infertility; Syndrome X: Managing Insulin Resistance with Jennifer B. Marks, M.D.; Beef Busters with Marissa Cloutier, M.S., R.D.; and Menu for Life with Otelio Randall, M.D., and Donna Randall. She has published more than 350 articles and holds an M.A. in English/Creative Writing from the University of Washington.
