Infobase Announces the New and Improved Bloom’s Literature

New York, NY, October 24, 2017—Infobase, the award-winning provider of digital reference content to the school and library community, announced the complete revision and upgrade of its acclaimed Bloom's Literature. Renowned for its literature resources and criticism selected by literary scholar Harold Bloom, the database was rebuilt from the ground up, with a dynamic new design, exciting new features that greatly enrich the study of literature, and the largest addition of content in the history of the database.

The relaunch has given the database a clean, more streamlined new look, with an intuitive interface that provides easy access to the rich content. More than 200 additional full-length performance videos have been added (bringing the total number to more than 400!), along with the full contents of more than 800 classic literary works, more than 190 books edited by Harold Bloom, and thousands of images. In addition, Bloom's Literature now features a comprehensive Shakespeare Center with everything students and researchers need to study Shakespeare—including the full, searchable text of all of his plays.

In addition to its extensive, up-to-date resources for homework, reports, and projects across a range of subjects, the database provides support material for teachers in the form of printable handouts, classroom management forms, graphic organizers, science diagrams, and more.
